About Us
Silver Tails and Goat Trails is located on two acres in Eastern Oregon. With our founder being our Silver Labrador Maggie. Our heard is part of the ADGA (American Dairy Goat Association) registered as Nigerian Dwarf goats. In this journey we plan to keep our heard small and focus on quality rather than quantity. Our goal is to raise healthy quality goats with the intention to producing high quality milk; cheese, butter; cajeta; and soap. We strive to keep our goats healthy (getting tested frequently and administering vaccinations, minerals, and supplements). When logged in you can see what and when a pet has been given something.
In 2023 we embarked on journey of having goats not only for milk but also for show. However, they have become part of our family and we love them dearly. On our website you will be able to see our heard, their family tree, and their health records. If you are interested in purchasing a goat from us, you will be able to see what we have available under the; "For Sale Goats" tab. Please note that there is a process to buying a goat from us.This process is not impossible. We just want to make sure that our goats are going to a good home and that you are prepared to have a goat. Overall, have a great experience like we have had. However, please not it is not all rainbows and sunshine. We are also learning how to raise as we find it very important to create a healthy environment for our goats and be ethical in our practices as this is very important to us. In keeping our goats healthy we are also keeping our family and heard healthy and safe.
